The City of Tor. . . Here in Tor we are striving to bring about a "War Machine" that will be the base for the Kavar Tribe. We seek to combine such with a political tempo to keep a hold on the conquer territories that we will gain while continuing to keep the Home Stone secure. The High Council and War Council that makes up the political back bone of Tor understands that you can not have one with out the other.
The Al-Aqran Aswad understand the traditions handed down by their ancestors and they maintain the razor sharp discipline that will lead them not only into war, but into the City of Dust with honor. Many veterans have answered the call to don once more the mark of the Black Scorpion, and aid the young one's who haven taken up the call of the drum beat. They realize that tomorrow may never come and will strive to build a better futureAs the Military assembles with war brewing on the horizon, the High Council prepares doctrines and other important scrolls to bring in necessary alliances to keep Tor and that of the Kavar Tribe strong by trade or treaty of war.
What we are striving for is quite easy. We strive to achieve excellence both Militarily and Politically, both of which, despite popular belief, do not always come in the trappings of fame and fortune. There was a time when many lands where held by the iron fist of the Al-Aqran Aswad Militants, there was a time when they where mighty, being whispered on the tongues of many and once more shall songs be written up about the Tor that was and the Tor that shall come again.
What we ask of you is simple. All Citizens must acknowledge and respect the rights of other Citizens and the authority of superior officers, and High Council Members, including those of the War Council. Each and every Citizen is expected to participate in City activities and meetings to the fullest extent of his or her own capabilities. Those who fail to show respect; complete their assigned duties; and/or participate in City activities risk demotion or possible expulsion.
Every member is required to conduct their official affairs in a way that will bring honor to the City of Tor, Al-Aqran Aswad Militants, and the Kavar Tribe. In unofficial affairs all Citizens are asked to behave in ways that will not jeopardize the integrity of the City, the Militants or the Kavar Tribe as well as themselves or bring any sort of disgrace to the each. Every Citizen even those of the lowest caste, is an ambassador for the City of Tor. We will always strive to make a positive impression on those around us.
There are several benefits of joining Tor: First off you will have a place to call home - one that thrives on Honor; Second, those members who wish to rise within the ranks there is ample occasion to do so. Performing duties well and in a timely manner offers an opportunity for advancement within the City; Third and most importantly you get the benefit of an extended family, striving toward one goal. It is not the Ubar that makes up a City it is its citizens, and most importantly, it is you . . . Welcome to Tor.
